The first thing I do when I pick up my mail is to sort it: one pile for recycling and 1 or 2 pieces to follow up on. The size of the recycling pile always makes me shake my head, particularly at this time of year when the number of catalogs I get each day grows as we approach the holidays. Now before I recycle my catalogs, I'm going to tear off the back page with my customer number and log in during commercial breaks of The Office to cancel all that unwanted paper!
